Floyd Mayweather has announced plans on his epic return to the ring on September 13, 2014 followed by an explosive rematch against none other than the Argentin boxer Marcos Maidana, who Mayweather stood triumphant upon a majority decision in May.
The fight that will forever be recorded in boxing history as "Mayhem" will be Mayweather's 10th straight at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, even though rumors are circling about that the fight would instead take place at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. This is the bout in the blockbuster-fight deal Mayweather has signed in since February 2013 with Showtime.
Some believe that this one here, Maidana stood atop all the challengers Mayweather has ever faced in his career, evident by the results last May. A small difference between the Champ and his challenger Maidana; 117-111, 116-112 and 114-114. Will Maidana reign supreme and topple the Mayweather, or will the Champion prove he is the best of the best.
