Floyd Mayweather after his in-ring career finally comes to an end has stated that he wants to lay the foundations of a promotion company. This is what Mayweather had to say:
"We want to get things done the right way and continue to bring big fights to Las Vegas even when my career is over," Mayweather, who lives in Las Vegas, told the commission. "We can continue to do record-breaking numbers after I'm gone by doing it the right way."
Since Mayweather Promotions has already been licensed in the states of New York and Washington, Ellerbe stated that at the moment they're planning get licensed in the following states as well. These include California, Washington, D.C., Illinois and Michigan. Chief Executive Leonard Ellerbe also included in his statement that will be promoting a small show in Vegas in the run up for Mayweather vs Maidana 2.
