Certainly Maidana wants to prove his previous fight with the Champ that it was no hoax and he truly believes that he can stand triumphant against the pound-for-pound boxer of the world. If he can take it to the next level and pull off an upset, his career would certainly be in heights he would never have dreamed of otherwise.
But on the other hand, the Champ, Mayweather is going to be expecting an even more challenging opponent than what he faced last May. Demanding a more dominant performance from Maidana just so he could showcase why he is the best of the best. Currently Mayweather is 46-0 (26 KO's), but his previous victories were all but a majority decision, which could quite probably suggest the longtime Champion has become vulnerable over the course of time...
